• Digital Radiographs: Digital x-rays have many advantages over regular (plain film) x-rays including immediate viewing of the imaged area with significantly less radiation exposure for the patient. Better visualization of the area due to being able to digitally enhance the image on the computer screen.
• DEXIS CariVu™ – CariVu is a portable caries detection device that allows us to see through the tooth, exposing its structure and the development of any carious lesions. CariVu uses non-iodizing radiation, which is a great benefit for some patients.
• IntraOral Photographs – Did you know that cavities can be detected by your dentist before they even become bothersome? When visiting the dentist, patients can feel apprehensive in moving forward with treatment, especially if they aren’t in pain at that very moment. We can assist you in making informed decisions regarding your treatment by offering you a close up view of your mouth by utilizing our intraoral camera to take high resolution photos of your teeth. This technology helps our patients feel at ease with treatment decisions and allows our patients to see what we see! Our intraoral photographs are an essential tool in our treatment planning process.
